Mohammed Deyab is the Senior Legal Researcher and Head of Legal Research at Al Kabban & Associates. Based in Dubai, he plays a senior role within the firm’s litigation team, overseeing legal research, case preparation and procedural follow-up for matters before the Dubai Courts.

With more than 15 years of professional legal experience, Mohammed supports the firm’s advocates and legal consultants across a broad range of civil, commercial and criminal matters. His work includes legal and statutory research, analysis of applicable legislation and judicial principles, preparation and review of case documentation, and ongoing procedural follow-up throughout the different stages of court proceedings.

In addition to his UAE experience, Mohammed is a lawyer registered with the Egyptian Bar Association at the Court of Appeal level, providing him with a broader professional background in Arab civil law systems.

As Head of Legal Research, Mohammed coordinates the research and case-support functions required by the firm’s Dubai litigation practice. His work includes:

• Legal Research & Analysis – researching UAE legislation, judicial principles and other legal authorities relevant to ongoing disputes.
• Litigation & Case Preparation – supporting the firm’s advocates and legal consultants in preparing pleadings, memoranda, supporting documentation and case strategies.
• Dubai Court Procedures – overseeing procedural follow-up and monitoring the progression of matters through the various stages of the Dubai Courts.
• Statutory Interpretation – analysing legislation and its application to civil, commercial and criminal matters.
• Legal Research Team Coordination – overseeing and coordinating legal research activities in support of the firm’s wider litigation department.
