Eligibility Criteria for Antigua & Barbuda Citizenship by Investment (CBI)

To qualify for Antigua & Barbuda’s Citizenship by Investment Programme, the primary applicant must be over 18, with no criminal record or pending investigations, and family members must be in good health. Applicants must not have been denied a visa to a country with which Antigua & Barbuda has visa-free travel. Restricted nationalities apply, though exemptions exist for those who migrated young and have long-term residence elsewhere. Investment options include contributions to national or educational funds or approved real estate investments.

Applicants must be over 18 years old, free from serious health problems, and not involved in any ongoing criminal investigation.

Applicants with prior convictions must have received a free pardon if the custodial penalty exceeded six months.

Applicants must not have been denied a visa to a country with which Antigua & Barbuda has visa-free access, unless a subsequent visa was granted.

Nationals of Afghanistan, Iran, North Korea, Somalia, Yemen, and Sudan are ineligible, except under special exemptions for long-term residency abroad and no economic ties to restricted countries.

A contribution of USD 150,000 for a family of six or more, with the minimum application size being 6 people.

Make a minimum contribution of USD 100,000 to the National Development Fund.

Invest at least USD 200,000 in government-approved real estate projects.
